When choosing which shampoos, conditioners or treatment to use... Allison recommends that you prioritize fixing any problems - dry coat, matting, shedding, etc. - first, and then prioritizing or "falling back" on your dog's coat type. You need to address any problems before you choose solely based on your dog's coat type (although this is always a consideration).
