Advanced Training Techniques 2.0

Master advanced techniques for a solid, confident stack during judge's exams!

In this webinar, we demonstrate advanced training techniques by combining three of our favourite training methods: target training with cavaletti pole training and with Happy Legs. These advanced methods will help with troubleshooting problems like pacing, sidewinding, the judge's exam, showing the bite, and more.

Topics Include:

  • How to combine target training with Cavaletti pole training
  • How to combine target training with Happy Stacker training
  • Improving your dog's hard stack and judge's exam
  • Getting a 'next level' free bait
  • Improved fitness with Cavaletti pole training and target training
  • The importance of enthusiasm in your training
  • Troubleshooting common gait issues like pacing and sidewinding
  • Improving your dog's sidegait, reach and drive, and having them move ahead
  • Troubleshooting fears using the target stick
  • Perfecting your dog's attention and expression on the stack and the move
  • And more!

Please note - Since this webinar is about advanced techniques, we won't be going in-depth on the basics for each of these training methods. We invite you to check out our Target Training webinarCavaletti pole training course, and Advanced Handling course including a stack boxes tutorial (however, we will be using Happy Legs for this webinar) if you would like a refresher on any of these methods or think you need more information once you've completed this webinar.
