How to Stand Out At Your

National Specialty

Live webinar: Thursday, March 28th at 4pm PT / 7pm ET

For many, your National Specialty is the absolute best your dog needs to perform in a given year. We are often asked by our students what we can do to stand out from the rest at a Specialty - how the handler should dress, how the dog should be trained, how your dog should be groomed, how to plan your day at the show, and so on. In this webinar, we will share top tips for Specialty success! In honour of Poodle Club of America coming up in April, we will include a particular section for Poodles but this webinar will apply to all breeds.

Our full list of topics will include...

  • 4 Week Grooming Prep Guide
  • Grooming & handling for a breed-specialist versus an "all-rounder"
  • Your grooming needs to be in TOP shape!
  • Planning your day at a National Specialty
  • How to stand out stacked on the line
  • Have a show-stopping free bait
  • Show some personality!
  • How to take advantage of a large ring
  • Prepare for a different show ring environment
  • Creating your brand & being remembered
  • What to wear
  • Deciding which classes to enter
  • Other considerations - reserving grooming space, attending events, etc.
  • Poodle Club of America specifics!

You will walk away from this webinar ready to look and perform your absolute best at your National Specialty - or any high level of competition!
